Cell phones
Cell phones should only be used on break or off the clock. In the event of an emergency, communicate with your MOD in advance.
Social media policy
Posts that portray unacceptable employee behavior or portray Chick-fil-A in a bad light may be dealt with in immediate termination.
Represent the store
Whether on the clock or in the parking lot, remember that you represent the store when in uniform — please exercise good judgement. Videos should not be posted online while you're in uniform (i.e. TikTok).
Uniform and grooming standards
Men
- Hair must be no longer than the top of eyebrows and ears
- Neatly trimmed facial hair is allowed
- Natural colors for hair
- Black or white undershirts are acceptable
- No piercings are allowed
Women
- Hair must be tied back with a hair tie or clip at all times
- Fingernails must be neutral or primary colors — no highlighter colors
- Fingernails must be natural length, no longer than ¼ inch beyond fingertip length
- Fake nails are allowed, but no longer than ¼ inch beyond fingertip length
Your break, and what you can eat
Breaks
14–17 year olds must take a break at least every 4 hours worked, and cannot stay clocked in beyond the 4-hour mark without a 30-minute unpaid break (child labor laws).
18+ year olds receive 18 paid minutes after every 4 hours worked, and must remain in the restaurant during these breaks.
Break food
For every 4 hours worked you may receive $12.50 after tax in free food, per day. It cannot be rung up together.
Does not include shakes or frosted beverages. Seasonal beverages and iced coffees may be rung up as part of your $12.50 break food.
Who gets a discount, and when
Discounts of any kind are only eligible dine-in / carryout.
Employees & immediate family
- Employees receive 50% off at all times
- Immediate family members (parents / siblings) receive 25% off at all times if not with the Team Member
Other discounts — 25% off at all times
- Firefighters, Police Officers, EMT, and Paramedics (in uniform or with ID)
- Active duty service members (in uniform or with ID)
- Veterans (with ID)
Disciplinary action
Used to document violations and reinforce accountability. It outlines the incident, the core value(s) violated, and any resulting action — from a warning to suspension. Team Members sign to acknowledge understanding and the importance of upholding our values.
